Pontins Tournament 2013
This year, Elmdon's very talented Year 7 team went to Pontins. They had a very victorious first day, winning 5 games, drawing 2 and losing 2. This put them into 'The Cup'. The Cup is a collection of the top teams from the first day which means extremely tough competition! Unfortunately, despite incredible play, the girls were knocked out of The Cup.
An excellent weekend, and we look forward to going again next year!
Pontins Tournament 2012
This is a weekend long tournament where girls play at least 2 half days of matches on Saturday and Sunday. We will ideally need a parent who can manage the team and an adult who is able to help umpiring, as each team has to provide an umpire. Girls usually take no more than £40 to cover food and activities. Please confirm with Alice by end February if your daughter would like to attend as a reservation will need to be made. The YEAR 7 and YEAR 8 squads are now booked in - good luck in all your matches!
